सिल्ली गूँज महोत्सव के दूसरे दिन हुआ सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन,पद्मश्री छूटनी देबी हुई सम्मानित
वर्ष 1999 में ससुराल में डायन प्रथा की शिकार हुई थी । पिछले 25 वर्षों से सरायकेला के बीरबांस गांव में अपने मायके में रह रही । इस दौरान हमने अंधविश्वास और रूढ़ीवादी प्रथा के खिलाफ इस तरह से जोरदार अभियान चलाया कि झारखंड ही नहीं, देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों से डायन प्रथा की शिकार महिलाएं आज उनसे मदद मांगने पहुंचती है। एक समय ऐसा भी था कि घर वालों ने डायन के नाम पर न सिर्फ उसे प्रताडि़त किया, बल्कि मुझे घर से बेदखल भी कर दिया था । तब मैं आठ माह के बच्चे के साथ पेड़ के नीचे रहीं। तब पति ने भी साथ छोड़ दिया था। आज मैं खुद असंख्य महिलाओं की ताकत बन गई हूं।
पद्मश्री अवार्ड मधु मंसुरी हंसमुख ने कहा सांस्कृतिक नवजागरण और झारखंड आंदोलन में अपने गायन से लोगों में उत्साह का संचार करने वाले मधु बताते हैं कि जब वह 17-18 महीने के थे, तभी उनकी मां का निधन हो गया था।उसके बाद एक अहीर महतो के कहने पर सुरा से जान बची और गांव वालों के कहने पर मधुआ से मधु हो गए।
पदम श्री मुकुंद नायक ने कहा कि झारखंड की परंपरा, संस्कृति, लोक संगीत, नृत्य आदि को प्रोत्साहन मिला है। यहां के कलाकारों को उचित मंच पर लाने और छिपी हुई प्रतिभा को ढूंढ निकालने की जरूरत है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कार्य में समाज के हर तबके को आगे आना होगा।सूरजमनी भगत ने कहा कि प्रकृति से बेहद करीब रहने और पंरपरा को समेटे रखने वाले इस समाज को सत्ता सिस्टम के भरोसे नहीं छोड़ा जा सकता। आज का दिन नई सोच, नए विचार, नई संभावनाओं को आवाज देने का है। गाव के लोगों को जंगल बचाने और जीविका बचाने दोनों का अधिकार दिया गया। इसके आधार पर वन जनता की संपत्ति है। लेकिन, इसकी रक्षा भी जनता की जिम्मेवारी है। इसके अलावा सभा को डॉ संजय बसु मलिक डॉ देवशरण भगत आदि ने भी संबोधित किया।
