    शहरातील खड्डेमय रस्ते, ठिकठिकाणी साचलेले घाण पाण्याचे डबके, शहरातील अस्वच्छता, पसरलेले साथीच्या आजाराने शहरात नागरी सुविधांचा बोजवारा उडाला असताना, विजयादशमीच्या दिवशी पीपल्स हेल्पलाईन, भारतीय जनसंसद व मेरे देश मे मेरा अपना घर आंदोलनाच्या वतीने महापालिकेचे नामांतर ढब्बू मकात्या महापालिका करण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती संघटनेचे निमंत्रक अ‍ॅड. कारभारी गवळी यांनी दिली. शुक्रवार दि.15 ऑक्टोबर रोजी विजयादशमीला नागरिकांच्या वतीने सिमोल्लंघन करीत ढब्बू मकात्याशाही संपविण्याचा निर्धार करण्यात आला आहे. नालेगाव येथील अमरधामवर महापालिका नामांतरचा फलक लावण्यात येणार असल्याचे संघटनेच्या वतीने जाहीर करण्यात आले आहे.महापालिकेने शहरातील रस्त्यावरील खड्डे महिन्याच्या मुदतीत बुजवलेले नाहीत. काही ठिकाणी खड्डयांची करण्यात आलेली पॅचिंग देखील पावसाने वाहून गेली आहे. शहरात रस्त्यांचे काम निकृष्ट होत असल्याने नागरिकांना खड्डेमय रस्त्यांचा त्रास सहन करावा लागत आहे. तसेच इतर नागरी सुविधा पुरविण्यास देखील महापालिका उदासीन राहिली असल्याने महापालिकेचे नांमांतर करण्याचा निर्णय संघटनेच्या वतीने घेण्यात आला आहे. महापालिकेतील लोकप्रतिनिधी आणि अधिकारी यांना नागरिकांच्या सोयीसुविधा अजिबात जाणीव नसल्याने ही ढब्बू मकातेशाहीच्या निषेधार्थ महापालिकेचे नामांतर करुन आंदोलन केले जाणार आहे. या आंदोलनासाठी अ‍ॅड. गवळी, अशोक सब्बन, वीरबहादूर प्रजापती, ज्ञानदेव काळे, सुधीर भद्रे, शाहीर कान्हू सुंबे, विठ्ठल सुरम आदी प्रयत्नशील आहेत.
