अमेरिकी फिल्म निर्माता हार्वे वाइंस्टीन (Harvey Weinstein) की जिंदगी अब सलाखों के पीछे ही कटने वाली है. फिल्ममेकर पर यौन उत्पीड़न और दुष्कर्म जैसे गंभीर आरोपों के मामले में 16 की सजा सुनाई गई है.
अमेरिकी फिल्म निर्माता हार्वे वाइंस्टीन (Harvey Weinstein) की जिंदगी अब सलाखों के पीछे ही कटने वाली है. फिल्ममेकर पर यौन उत्पीड़न और दुष्कर्म जैसे गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए थे. हाल ही में कोर्ट की सुनवाई के बाद हार्वे वाइंस्टीन की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं. कोर्ट मे उन्हें इन आरोपों में दोषी पाया है. ऐसे में हार्वे वाइंस्टीन को रैप और यौन उत्पीड़न मामलों में दोषी करार करते हुए उन्हें 16 साल की सजा सुनाई गई है. लॉस एंजिल्स में हुई जांच करने के दो महीने बाद बीते दिन यानी गुरुवार को हार्वे वाइंस्टीन सजा सुनाई गई.दरअसल लगभग 10 साल पहले हार्वे वाइंस्टीन पर एक महिला ने यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया था. इस महिला का साथ देते हुए वकीलों ने कहा था कि हार्वे वाइंस्टीन ने यंग एक्ट्रेसेस के साथ एक नहीं बल्कि कई बार ऐसा काम किया है. दिसंबर 2020 में हुई सुनवाई के दौरान सारी जांच और सबूत को देखते हुए हार्वे वाइंस्टीन को रेप और यौन उत्पीड़न के दोषी पाए गया था. जिसके बाद उन्हें न्यूयॉर्क में 23 साल की सजा सुनाई गई थी.
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार एक यूरोपीय मॉडल ने वाइंस्टीन पर ये सभी आरोप लगाए थे. मॉडल ने अफना गवाही के दौरान कहा था कि, 2013 में एलए इटालिया फिल्म फेस्टिवल के बाद मिस्टर सी होटल में वाइंस्टीन ने उनका रेप किया था. हार्वे वाइंस्टीन 71 साल के होने वाले हैं. ऐसे में उनका बचा हुआ पूरा जीवन जेल की सलाखों के पीछे ही गुजरने वाला है. हार्वे वाइंस्टीन हॉलीवुड के मशहूर फिल्ममेकर है और वह एक बडे़ आदमी भी थे.
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार हार्वे वाइंस्टीन की लीगल टीम लगातार कोशिशों में जुटी है कि वह कैसे भी उन्हें बाहर ला सकें. हार्वे वाइंस्टीन की लीगल टीम मार्क वर्क्समैन और एलन जैक्सन ने जनवरी में एक याचिका दायर की थी. जिसे जज ने सजा सुनाए जाने से पहले गुरुवार को खारिज कर दिया था. हार्वे वाइंस्टीन पर 100 से ज्यादा महिलाओं ने आरोप लगाए थे. इसमें ज्यादातर यौन उत्पीड़न, दुर्व्यवहार और उत्पीड़न के आरोप शामिल हैं.
