यूपी के कौशांबी में चायल विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अशरफपुर (मरधरा) गांव में प्रदेश सरकार के श्रम सेवायोजन एवं समन्वयक मंत्री स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य ने चक्रवर्ती सम्राट अशोक की लाट का अनावरण किया। निर्धारित समय से लगभग ढाई घन्टे से देर से पहुंचे मंत्री का कार्यकर्ताओं ने भव्य स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया। उन्होंने अपने उद्बोधन में भाजपा सरकार के साढ़े चार साल में कराए गए विकास कार्यों को गिनाया। इसके अलावा केंद्र सरकार की जन कल्याणकारी योजनाओ के बारे में भी जानकारी दी। मीडिया के सवाल पर उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश से अब बसपा का खेल खत्म हो रहा है, क्योंकि मायावती ने बाबा साहब के मिशन को ध्वस्त कर दिया है। इसके अलावा मान्यवर कांशीराम के विचारों का गला घोट दिया है। बहन मायावती ने बसपा को अपनी निजी संपत्ति समझ लिया है। आर्थिक स्रोत का संसाधन मान लिया है। उन्होंने बसपा के सारे अरमानों पर पानी फेरने का काम किया है। बसपा सुप्रीमो अब किसी के हाथों में कोई कमान बसपा सौंप दे। अब बसपा का कोई भला होने वाला नहीं है। यूपी की राजनीति से बसपा को लोगों ने खारिज कर दिया है। सपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नरेश उत्तम पटेल पर निशाना साधते हुए स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्या ने कहा कि प्रदेश की जनता देख रही है, किसकी सरकार में दंगे होते थे। बहन, बेटियों की आबरू लूट ली जाती थी। दिनदहाड़े हत्या जैसे जघन्य अपराध होते थे। अब जब सब को न्याय मिल रहा है तो सपा को तारीफ करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि मनीष के हत्यारों को भी जल्द गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा, क्योंकि कानून के शिकंजे से आज तक कोई भी आरोपी बच नहीं पाया है।
