Rio Olympics 2016: Sindhu's silver outshines gold

Entire country has been going through a nail biting excitement, glued to the television sets watching the live telecast of Badminton Finals at the Rio Olympics 2016. Expectations had been high as all were expecting gold. Carolina Marin had put up a tough fight and defeated Sindhu. Keeping the spirit of sportsmanship in the game, win or defeat is normal but Indian are proud of Sindhu who too had maintained a neck to neck competition. Sindhu seemed to have lost her verve towards the end there as she goes down 21-19 12-21 21-15. Sindhu is the first Indian athlete to get a silver in women's badminton.

The real test is on Friday today, when Sindhu will be taking on on two-time World Champion and top seed Carolina Marin of Spain in the summit clash tomorrow. An excited Sindhu after her win said, "I hope I would give my best tomorrow as well. First time in Olympics and also playing the final tomorrow, is a very great feeling. Just one more match to go. I'm really very focused.
