550 സീറ്റുകളിലെ പ്രവേശന അനുമതിയാണ് റദ്ദായത്
കേരളത്തിലെ നാല് സ്വകാര്യ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജുകളുടെ പ്രവേശന അനുമതി സുപ്രീംകോടതി റദ്ദാക്കി.
ഈ വര്‍ഷം പ്രവേശനത്തിന് അനുമതി നല്‍കരുതെന്ന മെഡിക്കല്‍ കൗണ്‍സിലിന്റെ അപ്പീല്‍ അനുവദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാണ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് അരുണ്‍ മിശ്ര അധ്യക്ഷനായ ബഞ്ച് പ്രവേശനം റദ്ദാക്കി ഉത്തരവിട്ടത്.അല്‍ അസ്ഹര്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ്- തൊടുപുഴ, ഡി.എം മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് - വയനാട്, പി.കെ. ദാസ് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ്- പാലക്കാട്, എസ്.ആര്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ്- തിരുവനന്തപുരം എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ പ്രവേശനമാണ് കോടതി റദ്ദാക്കിയത്.നാല് കോളേജുകള്‍ക്കും ചട്ടപ്രകാരമുള്ള അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യമില്ലെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി മെഡിക്കല്‍ കൗണ്‍സില്‍ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ ഈ നാല് കോളേജുകള്‍ക്ക് നേരത്തെ പ്രവേശനാനുമതി നിഷേധിച്ചിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ കോളേജുകള്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ച് പ്രവേശനത്തിന് അനുകൂലമായ വിധി സമ്പാദിച്ചു. ഇതിനെതിരെയാണ് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കൗണ്‍സില്‍ സുപ്രീംകോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചതും ഇന്നത്തെ വിധിയുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതും. കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം നടത്തിയ മോപ് അപ് കൗണ്‍സിലിങ്ങില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗം സീറ്റുകളിലേക്കും പ്രവേശനം പൂര്‍ത്തിയായിരുന്നു. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശനം നേടിയ മുഴുവന്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെയും ബാധിക്കുന്ന തീരുമാനമാണ് കോടതിയുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നത്.
വാദം കേള്‍ക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് തന്നെ പ്രവേശനം നേടിയ കുട്ടികള്‍ പുറത്തുപോകേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന പരമാര്‍ശം കോടതിയുടെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് തന്നെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
