गाजीपुर। बुधवार की देर शाम पुलिस ने मुठभेड़ में दो शातिर बदमाशों को धर दबोचा गया। पुलिस अधीक्षक राम बदन सिंह ने बताया कि आज सुबह नंदगंज थाना क्षेत्र में बैंक मित्र से हुई 180000रु की लूट मामले में बाइक सवार बदमाशों की तलाश की जा रही थी। पूरे जिले में चेकिंग अभियान चलाए गए थे। इसी क्रम में शहर कोतवाली थाना क्षेत्र के जैतपुरा के पास दो संदिग्ध बाइक सवारों को पुलिस ने रोकना चाहा तो उन्होंने पुलिस टीम पर फायर झोंक दिया। नंदगंज थानाध्यक्ष के जैकेट पर 2 गोलियां लगी। जवाबी कार्यवाही में पुलिस की गोली से दोनों बदमाश जख्मी हो गए, जिन्हें इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। बदमाशों के पास से एक पिस्टल, एक कट्टा, बाइक तथा बैंक मित्र से लूटा गया रुपयों से भरा झोला बरामद किया गया है। बरामद झोले में लूट की पूरी रकम एवं अन्य सामान भी बरामद हुए हैं। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार बदमाशों की पहचान नगसर थाना क्षेत्र के नूरपुर गोहदा निवासी राजन पांडे और किशन जयसवाल के रूप में हुई है। दोनों के पैर में गोली लगी है। पुलिस टीम इनके आपराधिक इतिहास को खंगालने में जुटी है।
