कांग्रेस की राष्ट्रीय महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में कांग्रेसियों ने जेल भरो आंदोलन छेड़ दिया है। प्रदेश भर में कांग्रेसियों ने जिला स्तर पर प्रदर्शन किया और अपनी गिरफ्तारियां दी।
दरअसल कुछ दिन पूर्व उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर खीरी में हुई घटना के बाद प्रियंका गांधी लखीमपुर जाने के लिए निकली थी लेकिन सीतापुर में प्रियंका गांधी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था। प्रियंका गांधी की गिरफ्तारी के विरोध में और रिहाई की मांग को लेकर कांग्रेसियों ने जेल भरो आंदोलन छेड़ दिया। इसी क्रम में जनपद संभल में भी कांग्रेसी भारी संख्या में इकट्ठा हुए और बसों में सवार होकर गिरफ्तारी देने निकल पड़े लेकिन सूचना मिलने पर पहुंची पुलिस ने कोंग्रेसीओ को आगे नही बढ़ने दिया। इस दौरान भीषण गर्मी के चलते एक कार्यकर्ता की हालत बिगड़ गई जिसको मौके पर मौजूद पुलिस और कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने संभाला।
