खबर यूपी के बलिया से हैं जहाँ बलिया पुलिस की निष्क्रियता और अंधविश्वास का ऐसा ताल मेल दिखा की जिसे जान कर आप हैरान हो जाएंगे। बलिया में काफी लंबे समय से महिलाओं को अपनी शिकार बनाने वाले हौंसला बुलंद चलते-फिरते ढोंगी इतना शक्रिय है कि दिन-दहाड़े महिलाओं को अंधविश्वास के झांसे में लेकर महिलाओं से उनका जेवर उनकी आँखों में धूल झोंक कर अचानक जादूगर की तरह गयाब हो जा रहे है, और पुलिस हाथ पर हाथ रखे बैठी है। ताजा मामला सदर कोतवाली क्षेत्र लोहापट्टी रोड की रहने वाली एक महिला का है जिसके साथ कुछ ऐसा ही हुआ। दो युवकों ने मन्दिर से घर को लौट रही महिला के आंखों और दिमाग मे अंधविश्वास का धूल झोकते हुए उसके बेटे की ग्रह नक्षत्र ठीक करने की नसीहत देते हुए उसके कान का कुंडल और मंगलसूत्र निकलवा कर अचानक गायब हो जाते है। फिर क्या था महिला के होश उड़ जाते है। ये पहला मामला नही इसके पहले भी बलिया शहर की ब्यस्ततम सड़को पर ऐसी घटनाएं आये दिन होने की सूचना मिलती है। हालांकि इस घटना की वीडियो संयोग से सड़क किनारे एक रेस्टोरेंट के बाहर लगे सीसीटी कैमरे में उन 420 और चलते फिरते ढोंगियों की वीडियो कैद हो जाती है। महिला ने अपनी आप बीती घर के परिजनों से बताया जिसके बाद स्थानीय पुलिस को इसकी शिकायती पत्र दिया। जिसके बाद पुलिस मामले की छान-बिन में जुट गई है।
