    വാര്‍ഷികാഘോഷ പരിപാടികളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനെത്തിയ ദളിതര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഉന്നത ജാതിക്കാരായ മറാത്ത വിഭാഗക്കാര്‍ അക്രമം അഴിച്ചുവിട്ടു.അക്രമത്തില്‍ അക്രമത്തില്‍ ദളിത് വിഭാഗക്കാരുടെ വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച അക്രമികളും ദളിതുകളും തമ്മില്‍ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി. ഇരുവിഭാഗങ്ങളും തമ്മില്‍ വാക്കേറ്റവും കല്ലേറുമുണ്ടായി. വ്യാപകമായി വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ അടിച്ചും എറിഞ്ഞു തകര്‍ത്തു. നിരവധി വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ അഗ്നിക്കിരയായി. സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ഒരാള്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു.
    ച്ചയോടെ സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ക്കും കോളേജുകള്‍ക്കും അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ദളിത് സംഘടനകള്‍ മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയില്‍ ബന്ദ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നാല്‍പ്പതോളം വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ ഇതുവരെ തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആറോളം പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റിട്ടുള്ളതായാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്.
    അതേസമയം കൊറേഗാവ് സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ജുഡീഷ്യല്‍ അന്വേഷണം നടത്താന്‍ ശുപാര്‍ശ ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ദേവേന്ദ്ര ഫഡ്നാവിസ് അറിയിച്ചു
