അംഗരാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ വിദൂരവിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രചാരണമാണ് കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത് ലേണിങ് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്.സംസ്ഥാന സാക്ഷരതാ മിഷന്റെ അക്ഷരലക്ഷം പരീക്ഷയിലെ ഒന്നാം റാങ്ക് ജേതാവാണ് മുട്ടം സ്വദേശിനി കാര്‍ത്ത്യാനിയമ്മ. തൊണ്ണൂറ്റിയാറാം വയസ്സിലായിരുന്നു റാങ്ക് നേട്ടം. കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത് ലേണിങ് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ബാലസുബ്രഹ്മണ്യം നേരത്തെ കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മയെ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ ജീവിതവും പഠനരീതികളുമെല്ലാം വിശദമായി മനസ്സിലാക്കി, ചിത്രങ്ങളും ശേഖരിച്ചു. തുടര്‍ന്ന്, കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്തിന്റെ ഉപഹാരം സമ്മാനിച്ചാണ് അദ്ദേഹം മടങ്ങിയത്.
ഇതേ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് ഗുഡ് വില്‍ അംബാസിഡര്‍ പദവി കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മയെ തേടിയെത്തുന്നത്.
കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മയുടെ വിജയഗാഥ കോമണ്‍വെല്‍ത്ത് രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ എത്തിക്കാന്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് ബാലസുബ്രഹ്മണ്യം പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ പുറത്തിറക്കുന്ന ജേര്‍ണലുകളില്‍ പ്രായത്തെ തോല്‍പ്പിച്ചുള്ള റാങ്ക് നേട്ടം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കാനും നടപടി തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്.സാക്ഷരതാ മിഷന്റെ നാലാം ക്ലാസ് തുല്യതാ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് മുന്നോടിയായാണ് അക്ഷരലക്ഷം പരീക്ഷ നടത്തുന്നത്. ഇത് വിജയിച്ചാല്‍ നാലാം ക്ലാസ് പരീക്ഷ എഴുതാം. കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മ ഇപ്പോള്‍ നാലാം ക്ലാസ് പരീക്ഷയ്ക്കുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പിലാണ്. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഏഴ്, പത്ത് ക്ലാസുകളിലെ തുല്യതാ പരീക്ഷകളെഴുതി പത്ത് കടക്കുമെന്നാണ് കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മ പറയുന്നത്.റാങ്ക് നേട്ടത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ പഠിക്കണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹം പങ്കുവച്ച കാര്‍ത്ത്യായനിയമ്മയ്ക്ക് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമന്ത്രി സി. രവീന്ദ്രനാഥ് ലാപ്ടോപ്പ് സമ്മാനിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ചെറുമകന്റെയും സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് കാർത്തിയാനിയമ്മയുടെ കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ പഠനം.
സാക്ഷരതാ പ്രേരക് സതിയാണ് സാക്ഷരതാ മിഷന്‍ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് പരിശീലിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
കാണുന്നത്.സ്‌കൂളിന്റെ പടിവാതില്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഈ മുത്തശ്ശി നാലാംക്ലാസ് ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടാണ് അക്ഷരലക്ഷം പരീക്ഷ എഴുതിയത്. എന്നാല്‍ വിജയത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ഇനി ഏഴ്, പത്ത് ക്ലാസുക
