खडकवासला धारण ओव्हरफ्लो ,१८ हजार क्युसेक पाण्याचा विसर्ग

पुणे, शहराला पाणी पुरवठा करणाऱ्या खडकवासला धरण साखळीत रात्रीत पाच टीएमसी पाणीसाठा वाढला आहे. दरम्यान, खडकवासला धरणाच्या पाणलोट क्षेत्रात रात्री मोठ्या प्रमाणात पाणी येत असल्याने मध्यरात्री पाण्याचा विसर्ग रात्री 11 च्या सुमारास 18 हजार क्यूसेक करण्यात आला त्यानंतर तो 25 हजार क्यूसेक पर्यंत वाढवण्यात आला. त्यामुळे डेक्कन येथील भिडे पूल पाण्याखाली गेला होता. तर यंदा पहिलाच विसर्ग 25 हजार क्यूसेक पर्यंत वाढल्याने यंत्रणेचीही तारांबळ उडाल्याचे पाहायला मिळाले. अचानक मोठ्या प्रमाणात पाणी वाढल्याने रात्री पत्रालगतच्या बेघर नागरिकांना बाजूला काढावे लागले. दरम्यान, नदीपात्रात पाण्यात काही वाहने अडकली होती तर काही वाहने वाहून गेल्याची शक्यता आहे. तर या पुराच्या पाण्याने मोठ्या प्रमाणात जलपर्णी पुलांना अडकली होती. पाटबंधारे विभागाने दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, गुरुवारी सकाळी पानशेत, खडकवासला, वरसगाव आणि टेमघर या चारही धरणात 14 टीएमसी पाणी होते ते शुक्रवारी सकाळी 18 टीएमसी झाले. तर खडकवासला धरणात गेल्या 12 तासात .0.70 टीएमसी पाणी मुठा नदीत सोडण्यात आले आहे. परिणामी गेल्या 24 तासात 5 टीएमसीने पाणी साठा वाढला होता.
