पंजाब के अमृतसर में ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार की बरसी के लिए श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब पर अखंड पाठ के भोग डाले गए जिसके बाद श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब के जत्थेदार ज्ञानी हरप्रीत सिंह की ओर से कौम को संदेश भी जारी किया गया

पंजाब के अमृतसर में ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार की बरसी के लिए श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब पर अखंड पाठ के भोग डाले गए जिसके बाद श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब के जत्थेदार ज्ञानी हरप्रीत सिंह की ओर से कौम को संदेश भी जारी किया गया इस दौरान माहौल उस वक्त तनावपूर्ण हो गया जब खालिस्तान समर्थक रेडिकल ग्रुपों से जुड़े लोगों ने खालिस्तान के समर्थन में नारेबाजी की और हाथों में तलवार भी लहराई। इस दौरान स्वर्ण मंदिर में मौजूद एसजीपीसी की टास्क फोर्स ने इन लोगों को समझाने की कोशिश भी की तो उनके साथ भी झड़प हुई
वही इस मौके शिरोमणी अकाली दल अमृतसर के प्रधान सिमरजीत सिंह मान ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा कि खालिस्तान जिंदाबाद के नारे लगाने सिखों का अधिकार है और वह खाली स्थान जिंदाबाद के नारे लगाकर उन शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दे रहे हैं


वहीं जत्थेदार ध्यान सिंह मंड ने बताया कि आज हमारे साथ सौतेली मां जैसा भी बार हुआ है क्योंकि जब हम संदेश कौम को सुना रहे थे तो हमारे साथ भी धक्का-मुक्की हुई और श्री अकाल तखत साहिब को जंजीरों के साथ जकड़ा गया और ध्यान सिंह मंड ने बादल परिवार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि श्री अकाल तख्त पर अब कुछ परिवारों का कब्जा है और वह परिवार नहीं चाहते कि सिख पंथ इकट्ठा हो और वही उन्होंने खालिस्तान के नारे लगाने के बारे में बोलते हुए कहा कि यह शिरोमणि कमेटी की ओर से हुल्लड़ बाजी की जाती है



वही पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब के जत्थेदार ज्ञानी हरप्रीत सिंह ने कहा कि आज के दिन भारतीय फौज की ओर से श्री हरमंदिर साहिब में दाखिल होकर सिखों का सरेआम कत्ल किया गया श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब जी के पावन स्वरूप अंगों की भी बेद भी की गई और यह हमला से सिख कौम के ऊपर नासूर की तरह है जो सिख कौम कभी भी भुला नहीं सकती
