    सीतापुर में एडिशनल एसपी आलोक के ऊपर करीब ढाई लाख रुपये सरकारी धन के गबन करने का आरोप लगा हैं। शहर कोतवाली में एडिश्नल एसपी के ऊपर केस दर्ज होने से पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मचा हुआ हैं। गबन के आरोप की जांच के लिए सीओ सिटी को इसकी जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गयी हैं।
    मामला शहर में स्थित द्वतीय वाहिनी पीएसी की हैं। यहाँ राज्य पुलिस मोटर वाहन कार्यालय हैं और इस कार्यालय के प्रभारी के तौर पर एडीश्नल एसपी अलोक श्रीवास्तव को सौंपी गयी थी। आरोप हैं कि एडिश्नल एसपी पिछले जून माह में अपनी पत्नी और दो बच्चों के साथ फ्लाइट से लखनऊ कलकत्ता होते हुए अंडमान निकोबार की यात्रा की थी। बताया जाता हैं कि इन्होने अवकाश यात्रा भत्ता के नाम पर 3 लाख 41 हजार रूपये का खर्च दिखाया जबकि एडिश्नल एसपी के यात्रा का खर्च सिर्फ 90 हजार रूपये ही हुआ था। इसी मामले में विभाग के एडीजी ने अपने स्तर से जाँच के बाद पूरे मामले की जाँच पड़ताल एंटी करप्शन टीम को सौंप दी। टीम की जांच में एडिश्नल एसपी पर दोष सिद्ध होने के बाद तहरीर पर शहर कोतवाली में केस दर्ज कर लिया गया। कोतवाली पुलिस ने मोटर वाहन विभाग के एडिश्नल एसपी एस.के.शुक्ल की तहरीर पर अपराध संख्या 807/18 धारा 409 आईपीसी के तहत केस दर्ज कर लिया हैं।
