ഇനി മുതല്‍ ടാറ്റ നിരയില്‍ ഇന്‍ഡിക്ക eV2 കോമ്പാക്ട് ഹാച്ച്ബാക്കും, ഇന്‍ഡിഗോ eCS കോമ്പാക്ട് സെഡാനുമുണ്ടാകില്ല. ഇരുകാറുകളുടെയും നിലവിലുള്ള സ്റ്റോക്ക് വിറ്റുതീര്‍ക്കാനുള്ള തത്രപാടിലാണ് ടാറ്റ ഡീലര്‍മാര്‍.ഉത്പാദനം നിര്‍ത്തിയെങ്കിലും ഇന്‍ഡിക്ക, ഇന്‍ഡിഗോ ഉടമകള്‍ക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ സര്‍വീസ് പിന്തുണ കമ്പനി തുടരുമെന്ന് ടാറ്റ വക്താവ് മാധ്യമങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ചു.

വിപണി സമവാക്യങ്ങള്‍ മാറിയ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഇരു മോഡലുകളെയും പിന്‍വലിക്കാന്‍ കമ്പനി നിര്‍ബന്ധിതരാണ്.

ഇന്‍ഡിക്ക eV2, ഇന്‍ഡിഗോ eCS കാറുകള്‍ വന്‍തോതിലാണ് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഇതുവരെ വിറ്റുപോയിട്ടുള്ളത്. അതുകൊണ്ടു സ്‌പെയര്‍ പാര്‍ട്‌സുകളുടെ ലഭ്യത വരുംവര്‍ഷങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രശ്‌നമായി ഉയരില്ല. 1998 -ലാണ് ഇന്‍ഡിക്കയെ ടാറ്റ ആദ്യമായി വിപണിയില്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്നത്. നാലു വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം 2002 -ല്‍ ഇന്‍ഡിഗോ CS -ഉം ടാറ്റ നിരയില്‍ അണിനിരുന്നു.വിശാലത, കുറഞ്ഞ പരിപാലന ചെലവു, ബജറ്റുവില - ഈ മൂന്നു ഘടകങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്‍ഡിക്ക, ഇന്‍ഡിഗോ കാറുകളുടെ കുതിപ്പിനു നിര്‍ണയകമായി.


പ്രധാനമായും ടാക്‌സി മേഖലയിലേക്കാണ് ഇരു കാറുകള്‍ വിറ്റുപോയതെന്നതും ശ്രദ്ധേയം.
