കേരളത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക തലസ്ഥാനത്തിന് അറുപത്തിഒന്‍പത് വയസ്സ്



17 ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തുകളും 87 ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകളുമുള്ള തൃശ്ശൂരിലെ പൂരം, വെടിക്കെട്ട്, പുലിക്കളി എന്നിവ വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. പെരൂർ അഥവാ പെരിയഊർ (വലിയ നാട്) എന്നതിനോട് തിരുശിവ എന്ന വിശേഷണം ചേർന്നതാണ്‌ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ തൃശ്ശിവപേരൂർ എന്നായതെന്ന് ഒരു ഭാഗം. ചേര രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലം മുതൽക്കേയുള്ള ചരിത്രം തൃശ്ശൂരിന്റെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ചരിത്രത്തിൽ പെടുന്നു. വളരെകാലങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പുതന്നെ തൃശൂർ വളരെ വലിയ പഠനകേന്ദ്രമായി അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.1979-ൽ കേരളത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക സ്ഥലസ്ഥാനമായ തൃശ്ശൂരിന്റെ പേരിനും പ്രശസ്തിക്കും കാരണം ശക്തൻ തമ്പുരാൻ എന്ന രാജ രാമവർമ്മയാണ്. ടിപ്പുസുൽത്താന്റെ പടയോട്ടക്കാലത്ത് ഉണ്ടായ നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങൾ പുന:രുദ്ധാരണം ചെയ്യ്ത് തൃശ്ശൂരിനെ പുതിയ രൂപത്തിലേക്കാക്കിയത് ശക്തൻ തമ്പുരാനാ‍ണ്.തൃശൂർ ജില്ലയുടെ സിംഹഭാഗവും അതായത് ചാവക്കാട് ഒഴികെയുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ മുമ്പ് കൊച്ചി സംസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.തൃശൂർ സ്വർണ്ണ വ്യാപാ‍രത്തിന് പേരു കേട്ട സ്ഥലമാണ്.കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ തന്നെ സിനിമാശാലയാണ്, തൃശൂർ രാമവർമ്മ (1925) ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ സ്വപ്ന തിയ്യറ്റർ

    ഔദ്യോഗിക കൃത്യനിർവ്വഹണത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ ദിവസം അനുപമയെ കാത്തിരുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധിയെ തൻമയത്വത്തോടെയാണ് ജില്ലാ കലക്ടർ നേരിട്ടത്.ഇരമ്പുന്ന സമരക്കാർക്ക് മുന്നിൽ അവരെ കേൾക്കാനും, അവരോട് പറയാനും ക്ഷമയും സമയവും നീക്കിവെച്ച തൃശൂരിന്റെ പുതിയ കലക്ടർ ടി.വി.അനുപമ പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചത് അസാമാന്യമായ പക്വതയും നയവും.ക്ഷോഭംകൊണ്ട് അലറുകയായിരുന്ന ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ പൊലീസും, റവന്യു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും രാവിലെ മുതൽക്കെ നിസ്സഹായരായി നിൽക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.ഇതിനിടെ സ്വയം മധ്യസ്ഥരാകാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച ചിലരെ ചീത്ത പറഞ്ഞും, കൂകി വിളിച്ചും സമരക്കാർ മടക്കിയയച്ചു.എന്ത് ചെയ്യുമെന്നറിയാതെ അധികാരികൾ അന്തംവിട്ടു നില്‍ക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് കലക്‌ടറുടെ രംഗപ്രവേശം.കാറിൽ നിന്നിറങ്ങിയ കലക്ടറെ കൈയ്യടിയോടെയാണ് നാട്ടുകാർ സ്വീകരിച്ചത്.സമരക്കാർക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത് ക്ഷമാപൂർവ്വം കേട്ടു നിന്ന കലക്ടർ, എല്ലാം ഉടനടി പരിഹരിക്കുമെന്ന നടക്കാത്ത വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളൊന്നും തന്നെ നൽകുന്നില്ലെന്നും, തീരദേശവാസികളുടെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ പരിഹരിക്കാൻ പരമാവധി ശ്രമിക്കുമെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു.കടൽക്ഷോഭ ബാധിത പ്രദേശം സന്ദർശിക്കണമെന്ന സമരക്കാരുടെ ആവശ്യം അംഗീകരിച്ച കലക്ടർ എറിയാട് ചന്തക്കടപ്പുറത്തെത്തി സ്ഥിതിഗതികൾ വിലയിരുത്തി.കലക്ട്രേറ്റിൽ വിളിച്ചു ചേർത്ത ഇറിഗേഷൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ യോഗത്തിന് ശേഷം ആവശ്യമായ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും, താത്ക്കാലിക തടയണ, കടൽഭിത്തി പുനർനിർമ്മാണം തുടങ്ങിയ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾ പരമാവധി വേഗത്തിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമെന്നും ഉറപ്പു നൽകി.പുതിയ കലക്ടറുടെ വാക്കുകൾ വിശ്വസിച്ച് സമരം അവസാനിപ്പിച്ഛതോടെ എല്ലാം ശുഭം.Subscribe to News60 :https://goo.gl/VnRyuF Read: http://www.news60.in/ https://www.facebook.com/news60ml/
