കാരണം കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്സുകാരുടെ അകമഴിഞ്ഞ സ്നേഹം അത്രേ .തെലങ്കാനയില്‍ മുതിര്‍ന്ന കോണ്ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് സി. ദാമോദര്‍ രാജനരസിംഹയുടെ ഭാര്യയും സാമൂഹികപ്രവര്‍ത്തകയുമായ പദ്മിനി റെഡ്ഡി ബി.ജെ.പി.യില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന് മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം പാര്‍ട്ടി വിട്ട് തിരിച്ച് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നു. വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെയാണ് പദ്മിനി റെഡ്ഡി സംസ്ഥാന ബി.ജെ.പി. അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ കെ. ലക്ഷ്മണന്റെ സാനിധ്യത്തില്‍ പാര്‍ട്ടി അംഗത്വം സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. എന്നാല്‍ വൈകുന്നേരമായതോടെ അവര്‍ തീരുമാനം മാറ്റി. രാത്രി ഒമ്പത് മണിയോടെയാണ് തിരികെ വരികെയാണെന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചത്. താന്‍ പാര്‍ട്ടി വിട്ടതിനെതിരെ കോണ്ഗ്രസ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ വളരെ വികാരഭരിതരായാണ് പ്രതികരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അതിനാല്‍ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയാണെന്നുമായിരുന്നു ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവരുടെ പ്രതികരണം. പദ്മിനി റെഡ്ഡി കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ വ്യക്തമായി മനസിലാക്കാന്‍ കഴിവുള്ള ആളാണെന്നും അവരുടെ തീരുമാനത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും തെലങ്കാന ബി.ജെ.പി വക്താവ് കൃഷ്ണ സാഗര്‍ റാവു അറിയിച്ചു. രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തിസ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമുണ്ടെന്നായിരുന്നു പദ്മിനിയുടെ ബി.ജെ.പി. പ്രവേശനവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് രാജനരസിംഹയുടെ പ്രതികരണം. അവിഭക്ത ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശിലെ എന്‍. കിരണ്‍കുമാര്‍ റെഡ്ഡി മന്ത്രിസഭയില്‍ ഉപമുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു രാജനരസിംഹ. നിലവില്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസിന്റെ പ്രകടനപത്രിക കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍മാനാണ്.
