भाजापा के विजय रथ अभियान को उपचुनाव में भी सपा रोक नहीं पाई । सडक हादसे में क्षेत्र पंचायत सदस्य की मौत के बाद खाली हुई बायभूड की क्षेत्रपंचायत सीट पर गुरुवार को उपचुनाव हुआ जिसमें महज दो प्रत्याशियों ने नामांकन कराया । भाजापा समर्थित उम्मीदवार ने सपा को करारी हार देकर सपा समर्थित की जमानत जब्त करा दी ।सम्भल के विकासखंड रजपुरा में क्षेत्र पंचायत के उपचुनाव में भाजपा की ब्लाक प्रमुख ममता यादव के प्रत्याशी का जलवा बरकरार रहा । ग्राम पंचायत बायभूड़ सिंहपुर में क्षेत्रपंचायत उपचुनाव सीट पर भाजपा समर्थित विद्या देवी को 560 मतों से जीत मिली । जबकि रजपुरा से पूर्व ब्लाक प्रमुख रहे भूपेंद्र सिंह यादव उर्फ काली की पत्नी सत्यवती की जमानत जप्त हो गई है । मौजूदा ब्लाक प्रमुख ने भाजापा प्रत्याशी के रुप में सिंहपुर निवासी विद्या देवी पत्नी रोहताश को मैदान में उतारा था । जिनकी 560 मतों से जीत हुई पहले चुने गए क्षेत्रपंचायत सदस्य रोहतास की सड़क हादसे में मौत हो गई थी । उसके बाद से क्षेत्रपंचायत सदस्य का पद रिक्त चल रहा था । उपचुनाव में यहां पर केवल सपा और भाजापा ने अपने ही प्रत्याशी मैदान में उतारे थे । ग्राम पंचायत बायभूड़ सिंहपुर में हुए क्षेत्रपंचायत सदस्य के उपचुनाव में कुल 596 मत पड़े। इनमें से पूर्व ब्लाक प्रमुख व पूर्व बिधायिका पौत्रबधू को महज 13 मत प्राप्त हुए । इस तरह से पूर्व ब्लाक प्रमुख की पत्नी की जमानत जप्त हो गई । जबकि चुनाव में कुल 23 मत निरस्त पडे । बिधा देवी के क्षेत्रपंचायत चुनाव जीतने के बाद भाजपा के ब्लाक प्रमुख पति गिरिश यादव ने मिठाई खिला कर सभी का स्वागत किया । इस मौके पर अपार जीत से भाजपा खेमे में खुशी की लहर है । बता दें कि बृहस्पतिवार को इस सीट के लिए मतदान हुआ था । शुक्रवार को 10 बजे ही परिणाम घोषित कर दिया गया ।
