    प्रदेश के अन्य जिलों की तरफ कोरबा में भी लू से लोगों की मौत होने का सिलसिला शुरु हो गया है। कोरबा में लू से मौत होने का पहला मामला सामने आ गया है,जहां एक निजी कंपनी में ट्रक चालक का काम करने वाले गणेश दास नामक व्यक्ति की लू लगने से मौत हो गई। गणेश का उपचार जिला अस्पताल में चल रहा था,जहां बुधवार की सुबह उसने अंतिम संास ली।

    वीओ: प्रदेश के अन्य जिलों की तरह कोरबा में भी लू से लोगों की मौत होने का खाता खुल गया है। कुसमुंडा थाना अंतर्गत प्रेमनगर निवासी गणेश दास की लू लगने से मौत हो गई है। निजी कंपी में ट्रक चालक का काम करने वाला गणेश दास को पिछले दिनों लू लग गई थी और रुक रुक कर उसे बुखार आ और जा रहा था। जिला अस्पताल में उसका उपचार चल रहा था,जहां बुधवार की सुबह उसने अंतिम सांस ली। पिता की मौत से पुत्र काफी दुखी नजर आ रहा है।

    वीओ: मामले में पुलिस ने मर्ग पंचनामा की कार्रवाई पूरी कर ली है। शव पीएम के बाद परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया है।

    पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संकल्प लेकर कोरबा में बुधवार को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस धूमधाम से मनाया गया। वन विभाग के साथ ही छत्तीसगढ़ विज्ञान सभा के द्वारा सुभाष चौक पर लोगों को पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरुक किया गया। इसके साथ ही लोगों के बीच फलदार पौधों का वितरण भी किया गया।

    वीओ: पूरे भारत देश में जिस तरह से भीषण गर्मी पड़ रही है,उसका सबसे बड़ा कारण पर्यावरण का असंतुलित होना है। विकास के नाम पर जिस तरह से पेड़ों की आंधाधुंध कटाई की है उसका बुरा परिणाम भीषण गर्मी,बाढ़ और असहनिय ठंड के रुप में सामने आ रहा है। यही वजह है,कि पांच जून यानी बुधवार को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के मौके पर लोगों को जागरुक करने कोरबा में दिन विशेष को धूमधाम से मनाया गया। वन विभाग और छत्तीसगढ़ विज्ञान सभा के द्वारा सुभाष चौक पर बैनर पोस्टर के माध्यम से लोगों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरुक किया गया।

    वीओ: इस मौके पर वन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया,कि इस साल पर्यावरण दिवस के मौके पर बढ़ते हुए मरुस्थलीय क्षेत्र को कम करने की थीम पर काम किया जा रहा है। विभाग का प्रयास है,कि आने वाले समय में अधिक से अधिक पौधों का रोपण किया जाए,जिसके लिए लोगों के मध्य फलदार पौधों का विरतरण भी किया गया।
