प्रदेश कांग्रेस महासचिव केवल सिंह पठानिया ने शाहपुर ब्लॉक कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष,
एवं पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों के साथ मिलकर सरकार से बारिश से प्रभावित लोगों की मदद की मांग की है। पठानिया ने कहा कि विधानसभा क्षेत्र के धार कंडी,चंगर और सेंटर बैल्ट में हुई भारी बारिश के कारण हुए नुकसान और प्रभावित लोगों को सरकार की तरफ से नाममात्र मदद की है। सरकार से ज्यादा तो सामाजिक संस्थाओं और ब्लॉक् कांग्रेस कमेटी ने प्रभावितों की मदद की है। पठानिया ने कहा कि वोह वैली के रुलेहड़ में जहां मकानों पर पहाड़ी का मलबा गिरने से 10 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी, वहां मौका पर पहुंचे सीएम जयराम ठाकुर ने जो आर्थिक सहायता देने की बात कही थी, वो सहायता अभी तक प्रभावितों को नहीं मिल पाई है।
