आजमगढ़ में सातवें चरण के मतदान को लेकर अब राजनीतिक सरगर्मी बढ़ने लगी है। इसी क्रम में सुहेलदेव भारतीय समाज पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष ओमप्रकाश राजभर आजमगढ़ के अतरौलिया विधानसभा में सपा प्रत्याशी संग्राम यादव के समर्थन में सभा करने पहुंचे। उन्होंने पीएम मोदी व मुख्यमंत्री योगी के हाल के बयान कि छुट्टा पशुओं के लिए विशेष गौशाला बनाएंगे, उस पर चुटकी ली। कहा कि अब यह गोबर पथवायेंगे, उपले बनवाएंगे। युवाओं को रोजगार चाहिए तो अब उनको यह सब काम कराएंगे। उन्होंने बीजेपी को निशाने पर लिया। कहा कि आज किसान परेशान है। छुट्टा पशु फसल चर जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता बदलाव चाहती है। योगी और मोदी जी के ललका सांड से छुटकारा चाहती है। लोग महंगाई भ्रष्टाचार और बेरोजगारी से त्रस्त हैं। पिछड़ा दलित का आरक्षण नहीं दिया। जिस उम्मीद से पिछली बार पिछड़े गए वह पूरा नहीं किया। लोग ऊब चुके हैं।
