चर्चित मुख्तार अंसारी एंबुलेंस मामले में बाराबंकी पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। गैंगस्टर एक्ट का मुकदमा दर्ज करने के बाद बाराबंकी पुलिस मऊ जनपद से डॉ अलका राय और भाई शेषनाथ राय को गिरफ्तार कर जिले के जहांगीराबाद थाने लेकर पहुंची। यहां से गैंगस्टर एक्ट की विवेचना कर रहे देवा कोतवाल डॉ अलका राय और शेषनाथ राय को लेकर देवा कोतवाली पहुंचे। देवा सीएचसी पर दोनों लोगों का मेडिकल कराया गया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने दोनों को अपर जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश न्यायालय संख्या 08 में पेश किया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने डॉ अलका राय और शेषनाथ राय को जेल भेज दिया।बता दें कि पंजाब के रोपड़ जेल में बंद रहने के दौरान मुख्तार अंसारी को एंबुलेंस सुविधा मुहैया कराने का आरोप डॉ अलका राय पर है। इस मामले में जांच के बाद बाराबंकी पुलिस ने मुख़्तार अंसारी समेत सभी 13 आरोपियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए गैंगस्टर एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया है और इस मामले की जांच बाराबंकी जिले के देवा एसओ को सौंपी गई है। गैंगस्टर एक्ट से पहले दर्ज मामले में डॉ अलका राय करीब 8 महीनों से जेल में बंद थी और जेल से छूटने के बाद वह अपना मऊ जनपद में स्थित श्याम संजीवनी हॉस्पिटल चला रही थी। इस मामले में मुख्तार अंसारी समेत केवल तीन लोग ही जेल में बंद हैं बाकी 10 आरोपी जमानत पर बाहर है। अब गैंगेस्टर एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज करने के बाद बाराबंकी एसपी अनुराग वत्स ने सभी आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिये तीन टीमें गठित की हैं। एक टीम मऊ जनपद पहुंच कर डॉ अलका राय और उनके भाई डॉ शेषनाथ राय को गिरफ्तार कर सबसे पहले जहांगीराबाद उसके बाद देवा थाना लेकर पहुंची। यहां दोनों को मेडिकल और कोर्ट में पेश करने के बाद जेल भेज दिया गया है।
