मुज़फ्फरनगर के तितावी थाना छेत्र में स्थित आईपीएल तितावी शुगर मील से परेशान तितावी गांव के किसान जिला प्रशासन कार्यालयों में चक्कर लगा रहे है। ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि शुगर मील से निकलने वाले गंदे पानी व छाई से गांव में गंभीर बीमारियां फैल रही हैं, क्षेत्र में जल प्रदूषण और वायु प्रदूषण जोरों पर है, कई ग्रामीण कैंसर जैसी भयंकर बीमारी की चपेट में आ गए है, सैकड़ो लोग अस्थमा की बीमारी से ग्रस्त हैं, फैक्ट्री के अंदर बड़ी बडी मशीनों द्वारा जमीन के अंदर से पानी निकाला जा रहा है जिससे आसपास के गांव में पानी का स्तर काफी नीचे चला गया हैं और पानी विषैला हो गया हैं, जिससे हर ग्रामीण को अब RO लगाना पड़ रहा हैं।
