कन्फ़ेडरेशन ऑफ़ ऑल इंडिया ट्रेडर्ज़ (कैट) ने आगामी 11-12 जनवरी को ई-कामर्स और जीएसटी सहित देश के व्यापार से जुड़े अन्य गम्भीर मुद्दों पर कानपुर में देश के सभी राज्यों के प्रमुख व्यापारी नेताओं का एक राष्ट्रीय व्यापारी सम्मेलन आयोजित किया था। लेकिन जिस तेज़ी से देश भर में कोरोना के मामलों में वृद्धि हो रही है वे बेहद चिंता का विषय है, उसी को देखते हुए कैट ने इस दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन को स्थगित कर दिया है।

    ''कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स'' ने यह दावा किया है कि 2019 में पुलवामा आतंकी हमले में इस्तेमाल किए गए बम बनाने के लिए रसायन भी अमेज़ॅन के ई-कॉमर्स पोर्टल के जरिए खरीदे गए थे ताकि आतंकी हमले में इस्तेमाल किए गए 'इम्प्रोवाइज्ड एक्सप्लोसिव डिवाइस' (आईईडी) तैयार किए जा सकें। ''कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स'' ने कहा कि अमेज़न ई-कॉमर्स पोर्टल के जरिये गांजा की बिक्री अमेज़न का कोई नया और पहला अपराध नहीं है। एनआईए ने पुलवामा मामले की जांच के दौरान मार्च, 2020 में अपनी रिपोर्ट में इस तथ्य का खुलासा किया, यह खबर मार्च, 2020 में मीडिया में व्यापक रूप से सामने आई। अन्य सामग्री के अलावा, अमोनियम नाइट्रेट, जो भारत में एक प्रतिबंधित वस्तु है, को भी अमेज़न ई-कॉमर्स पोर्टल के माध्यम से खरीदा गया था। बता दें कि पुलवामा आतंकी हमले में सीआरपीएफ के 40 जवान शहीद हुए थे।

    साउथ डिस्ट्रिक पुलिस ने ठक-ठक गैंग के दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। इनमें एक महिला भी शामिल है। पुलिस ने इनके पास से चुराये गए 23 हीरे बरामद किए हैं। इनके पकड़े जाने से कुछ रोज पहले आगरा में एक व्यापारी से धोखे से हड़पे गए 1 करोड़ से ज्यादा कीमत के हीरे का मामला भी सुलझा लिया है। डीसीपी साउथ अंकित चौहान ने स्पेशल स्टाफ के इंस्पेक्टर गिरीश कुमार की टीम ने मिले इनपूट पर पुष्प विहार सेक्टर-4 में एक महिला को रोका। उसकी तलाशी लेने पर हीरे के आभूषण मिले। पूछताछ में महिला ने बताया उसने गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों के साथ 15 जून को लोहा मंडी, आगरा क्षेत्र में एक व्यापारी की कार से 1 करोड़ कीमत के हीरे, 1 लाख रुपए और एक लैपटॉप चुराया था। बाद में इस महिला की निशानदेही पर एक युवक को पकड़ा गया। इसकी पहचान कुणाल के रूप में हुई। इससे भी कुछ और हीरे मिले हैं।
