    जालंधर फगवाड़ा हाईवे रोड पर हवेली के समीप खजूरला गांव जिला कपूरथला के पास रॉयल किंग पैलेस के साथ जो प्रोजेक्ट शुरू हुआ है उसमें इस इलाके के पुडा अधिकारी द्वारा धांधली की जाने की आशंका जताई जा रही है।पता चला है कि यह प्रोजेक्ट को एक से डेढ़ एकड़ तक पास किया गया है जबकि यह पूरा प्रोजेक्ट 5 एकड़ के लगभग में तैयार हो रहा है। सबसे बड़ी बात है यह प्रोजेक्ट के पीछे रेलवे की लाइने निकलती है इस प्रोजेक्ट बनाने वाली कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी ने रेलवे की जमीन को भी हड़प लिया है हमारे द्वारा जब रेलवे के उच्च अधिकारियों से बात की गई तो उन्होंने साफ लफ्जो में कहा कि रेलवे ट्रैक से 80 से 100 मीटर की दूरी तक रेलवे की प्रॉपर्टी है इस पर अगर कोई भी काम करता है तो उस पर कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी परंतु जब हमने यहां बन रहे नए प्रोजेक्ट का दौरा किया तो आगे से 1 से 2 एकड़ के बीच पिल्लर खड़े किए जा रहे हैं और पीछे एक एकड़ में भी सेम नक्शे से पिल्लर को खड़े किया जा रहा है और उसके पीछे लगभग 3 एकड़ में 10 फुट की माइनिंग की जा चुकी है और वहां से रेता निकालकर वहीं पर लगाई जा रही है आसपास वालों का यह कहना है कि माइनिंग आने वाले दिनों में बंद हो जानी है जिस कारण यहां से दिन-रात माइनिंग की गाड़ियां निकलती देखी जा रही थी।

    रेलवे लाइनों के साथ जो स्टेट गवर्नमेंट के छप्पर थे वह भी इस प्रोजेक्ट में ले लिए गए हैं उन पर पूरी तरह इन्होंने कब्जा कर लिया है सूत्र बताते हैं इसमें पदाधिकारियों ने सांठगांठ करके सेंट्रल गवर्नमेंट की जमीन पर कब्जा करवाया है और यहां से जिस प्रकार माइनिंग हो रही है उससे रेल ट्रैक पूरी तरह से तहस नहस हो सकता है जिस से कई आम लोगो की जान जा सकती है । यहां पर रेलवे द्वारा जो अपने पिल्लर लगाए गए थे इन से भी छेड़छाड़ की गई है यह भी सामने नजर आ रहा है इन्होंने बीच में से पिलरों को उखाड़ कर रेलवे ट्रैक के साथ लगा दिए गए हैं।

    जब इस प्रोजेक्ट के बारे में जीडीए के एस्टेट ऑफिसर से बात की गई तो उन्होंने यह बात कह कर अपना पल्ला झाड़ लिया कि "इट्स अ मैटर ऑफ रिकार्ड" परंतु कार्रवाई करने के नाम पर मौजूदा जीडीए के एस्टेट ऑफिसर ने चुपी साध ली।
