सडक दूर्घटना में मौत होने के बाद हमीरपुर मेडिकल कालेज अस्पताल में पोस्टमोर्टम की कागजी कार्यवाही पूरी करने के बाद उसे टांडा ले जाने के खिलाफ परिजनों से अपना रोष जताया । परिजनों ने आरोप लगाया कि जब अस्पताल में पोस्टमोर्टम करने वाला डॉक्टर छुट्टी पर था तो उनका समय क्यो बर्बाद किया गया । मृतक के पिता कमलेश चंद ने कहा कि अस्पताल प्रशासन ने फाइल बनाने के बाद पोस्टमोर्टम से इंकार किया है जो सरासर गलत बात है । उन्होने डयूटी पर तैनात डॉक्टर पर गुमराह करने और लापरवाहीपूर्ण रवैया अपनाने के आरोप लगाए ।
