    കുറുവ ദ്വീപ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.ഇടതൂര്‍ന്ന വനങ്ങളാണ് കുറുവാ ദ്വീപിലുള്ളത്

    അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ജനവാസം ഇല്ലാത്ത ദ്വീപാണിത്. സംരക്ഷിത മേഖലയായ ഇവിടെ

    പലവിധത്തിലുള്ള പക്ഷികളും ഔഷധ ചെടികളും സസ്യങ്ങളും വളരുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ

    വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലാണ് ഈ ദ്വീപ്. 150 ഓളം ചെറുദ്വീപുകളുടെ കൂട്ടമാണ് ഈ പ്രദേശം.

    അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ കുറുവ ദ്വീപിന്റെ മുഖ്യഭാഗത്തേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്കുവാൻ

    വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കമുള്ള അവസരങ്ങളിൽ വഞ്ചിയോ, മറ്റു സൗകര്യങ്ങളോ ആവശ്യമാണ്.

    പാറക്കെട്ടുകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ കൊച്ചരുവികളിലൂടെ കാൽനടയായി ദ്വീപുകളിലെല്ലാം

    എത്തിച്ചേരാവുന്നതാണ്.മാനന്തവാടിയില്‍ നിന്ന് 15 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ അകലെയായാണ് കുറുവ

    ദ്വീപ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
    മാനന്തവാടിയില്‍ നിന്ന് കാട്ടിക്കുളം വഴി കുറുവ ദ്വീപില്‍ എത്തിച്ചേരാം. കാട്ടിക്കുളത്ത്

    നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 6 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാല്‍ കുറുവാ ദ്വീപില്‍ എത്താം.നല്ല മഴക്കാലത്ത്

    കുറുവ ദ്വീപിൽ മുളകൊണ്ട് പാലങ്ങൾ നിർമ്മിക്കാറുണ്ട്. നദി കടക്കാൻ എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ

    സഞ്ചാരികളെ ആകർഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പാലങ്ങളാണ്.പ്രകൃതി

    ഒരുക്കിയ സുന്ദരമായ കാഴ്ചകൾ കാണാനായും സഞ്ചാരികൾ കുറുവ ദ്വീപിൽ എത്താറുണ്ട്

    . അപൂർവയിനം വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും സസ്യങ്ങളും കുറുവ ദ്വീപിൽ ഉണ്ട്.
