यूपी के कौशाम्बी जिले में विश्व हिंदू परिषद के जिलाध्यक्ष के नेतृत्व में विहिप कार्यकर्ताओ ने इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथी के खिलाफ नारेबाजी और प्रदर्शन करते हुए डीएम सुजीत कुमार को अपनी सात सूत्रीय मांग का ज्ञापन सौंपा है।विहिप जिलाध्यक्ष अजय कुमार पांडेय ने बताया की पूरे हिंदुस्तान में योजनाबद्ध तरीके से हिंदुओ पर अत्याचार किया जा रहा है,राम नवमी के दिन निकालीगई शोभायात्रा पर पत्थरबाजी की गई थी,जिससे धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंची है।विहिप ने मस्जिदों एवं मदरसों से निकलने वाली उन्मादी भीड़ की NIA से जांच की मांग की है।विहिप ने हिंदुओ की कम संख्या वाले स्थान पर पुलिस चौकी बनाने की मांग की है,विहिप कार्यकर्ता ने विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद मंझनपुर कलेक्ट्रेट पहुंचकर डीएम सुजीत कुमार को राष्ट्रपति को संबोधित 7 सूत्रीय ज्ञापन सौंपा है।
