President Kovind awarded Kirti Chakra to Shri Altaf Hussain Bhat, Constable, Jammu and Kashmir Police (posthumously). He displayed gallantry of the highest order, and utmost commitment to duty, and made the supreme sacrifice for the nation by killing a terrorist at Ganderbal. The honour was handed to the martyr through his wife and mother. Altaf was a resident of Srinagar and was the PSO of a BJP leader in Ganderbal. During a terrorist attack, Altaf saved the BJP leader's life and also neutralized the terrorist but was shot in the incident. He was taken to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

राष्ट्रपति कोविंद ने श्री अल्ताफ हुसैन भट, कांस्टेबल, जम्मू और कश्मीर पुलिस (मरणोपरांत) को कीर्ति चक्र से सम्मानित किया है... उन्होंने उच्चतम क्रम की वीरता, कर्तव्य के प्रति अत्यधिक प्रतिबद्धता का प्रदर्शन किया और गांदरबल में एक आतंकवादी को मारकर राष्ट्र के लिए सर्वोच्च बलिदान दिया... उनकी पत्नी और मां के जरिए शहीद को यह सम्मान दिया गया... बता दें कि अल्ताफ श्रीनगर निवासी थे, जब आतंकवादियों ने हमला किया, तो गांदरबल में BJP नेता के PSO थे... हमले के दौरान ना सिर्फ उन्होंने BJP नेता की जान बचाई बल्कि आतंकी को भी मौत के घाट उतार दिया... लेकिन कुछ गोलियां अल्ताफ हुसैन के शरीर को पार कर गईं... उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहां डॉक्टर्स ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया...

Bhojpuri is known as after the language of Bhojpur, a part of the Shahabad district.

    The Bhojpuri folks hold a discrete and strong custom and were celebrated in the past for their bravery. Bhojpuri is uttered in diverse anatomies and its well-formed structure differs in a lot respects from the other two languages of Bihar. On the whole, its grammar is simpler than that of Maithili and Magahi.

    Except in a few kept apart instances, the form of the verb depends only on the subject. Bhojpuri is written in KaithiKaithi, a script ascribed to the Kayas
