पड़ोसी देश चीन गंभीर बैंकिंग संकट के दौर से गुज़र रहा है। ताज़ा ख़बरों के अनुसार चीन में बैकों की हालत इतनी खराब हो गई है कि बैंकों ने ग्राहकों के खाते से पैसे निकालने पर रोक लगा दी है। तो बैंकों के इस फैसले के विरोध में चीन में हज़ारों लोग अब सड़कों पर उतर आए हैं। बता दें कि बीते अप्रैल महीने से ही चीन के लोग प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, और धीरे-धीरे यह प्रदर्शन अपना रूप बदलते जा रहे हैं, और इसका अंदाज़ा लगाया जा सकता है कई जगहों से जहाँ हिंसक प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गए हैं। तो बिगड़ते हालात पर काबू करने के लिए सरकार को अब बैंकों के आस-पास टैंक तैनात करना पड़ा है।
