ഇതിലധികവും അടുത്ത രക്തബന്ധമുള്ളവര്‍ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതാണ്. പല കേസുകളിലും ഇതുവരെ എഫ്.ഐ.ആര്‍. രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിട്ടുമില്ല.
പത്തുദിവസം മുന്‍പാണ് മങ്കടയില്‍ രണ്ടുകുട്ടികളെ അമ്മയുടെ അനുമതിയോടെ പലരും പീഡിപ്പിച്ചത്. സംഭവം വിവാദമായപ്പോള്‍ പ്രതി അമ്മയെയും കുട്ടിയെയും സ്വാധീനിച്ചു. എഫ്.ഐ.ആര്‍. പോലും രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്യാതെ ആ കേസ് തേഞ്ഞുമാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന അവസ്ഥയിലാണ്. അരീക്കോട്ടെ പതിനേഴുകാരനെ രണ്ടാനച്ഛന്‍ പീഡിപ്പിച്ച കേസും വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. കുട്ടിയുടെ മാനസികസംഘര്‍ഷം കണ്ട് അമ്മ കൗണ്‍സലറുടെ സഹായം തേടിയപ്പോഴാണ് സംഭവം പുറത്താവുന്നത്. കുട്ടി പോലീസിന് വ്യക്തമായി സംഭവം എഴുതിക്കൊടുത്തിട്ടും എഫ്.ഐ.ആര്‍. പോലും എടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. സ്വന്തം പിതാവ് പീഡിപ്പിച്ച് ബാലിക പ്രസവിച്ച സംഭവം ഏറെ ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ചൈല്‍ഡ്‌ലൈന്‍ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ഇടപെട്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് ഈ കേസില്‍ എഫ്.ഐ.ആര്‍. ഇട്ടത്. തേഞ്ഞിപ്പലത്ത് ആറുവയസ്സുകാരനെ ലൈംഗികപീഡനത്തിന് ഇരയായാക്കിയത് ഒരു ഓട്ടോഡ്രൈവറാണ്. അശ്ലീല വീഡിയോ കുട്ടിക്ക് കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്താണ് ലൈംഗികമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. മേലാറ്റൂരില്‍ മൂന്നു കുട്ടികളെ പ്രകൃതിവിരുദ്ധ പീഡനത്തിനിരയാക്കിയതും കഴിഞ്ഞയാഴ്ചയാണ്. ജില്ലയില്‍ മുന്‍കാലങ്ങളില്‍ പീഡിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത് കൂടുതലും ആണ്‍കുട്ടികളായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഏറക്കുറേ തുല്യമാണ്.

A jury found Jerry Sandusky guilty Friday in his child sex abuse trial, believing prosecutors' portrayal of him as a serial molester who groomed his victims and not finding reasonable doubt in his defense lawyer's assertions that the former Penn State assistant football coach was being victimized by an overzealous prosecution and greedy accusers.

It was a swift and emphatic end to a case that shattered Penn State University's Happy Valley image and brought down Hall of Fame football coach Joe Paterno.
Penn State releases statement in reaction to Sandusky guilty verdict

Sandusky showed little emotion as the verdict was read. The judge ordered him to be taken to the county jail to await sentencing in about three months.

Sandusky, a 68-year-old retired defensive coach who was once Paterno's heir apparent, was found guilty of 45 of 48 counts. He faces the strong possibility of life in prison.

In court, Sandusky half-waved toward family as the sheriff led him away. Outside, he calmly walked to a sheriff's car with his hands cuffed in front of him.
As he was placed in the car, someone yelled at him to "rot in hell." Others hurled insults and he shook his head no in response.

Jerry Sandusky was found guilty Friday night on 45 of 48 counts of child sexual molestation and faces up to 442 years in prison.
A jury of Sandusky's Centre County, Pa., neighbors determined that the former Penn State defensive coordinator sexually abused children over a 15-year period, using his stature as a local coaching hero and his position with the Second Mile charity to target and then violate at-risk kids from the area.
The jury deliberated for about 20 hours after a trial that stretched across eight days at Centre County Courthouse. The jury foreman read the counts and said "guilty" on six consecutive counts before saying "not guilty" for the first time. He read all 48 counts.

Sandusky, who was escorted out of the courthouse in handcuffs, will be sentenced at a later date by Judge John Cleland. The precise number of years he faces in prison is unclear, but legal experts say it should be enough to lock the 68-year-old away for life.
