जनपद आजमगढ़ में अहरौला थाना क्षेत्र के गौरी का पुरा गांव के पास सड़क किनारे स्थित कुएं से सिर कटी 5 टुकड़ों में मिली लाश के मामले का पुलिस ने खुलासा कर दिया है। इस दिल दहला देने वाली घटना को अंजाम देने वाले मुख्य आरोपी को पुलिस ने मुठभेड़ में गिरफ्तार किया है। गोली लगने से घायल आरोपी को जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जिसकी स्थिति स्थिर बताई गई। पुलिस ने मृतका के सिर को बरामद कर लिया है। जिसे पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेंज दिया गया है।
युवती संग हैवानियत की इस खौफनाक तस्वीर ने सबको हिलाकर रख दिया था। युवती की कई टुकड़ों में काट कर नृसंश हत्या को अंजाम देने में मुख्य रूप से प्रिंस यादव नामक युवक शामिल निकला। इस युवक के बहन से मृतका की दोस्ती थी। इतना ही नहीं दोनों का एक दूसरे के घर पर भी आना जाना था। भैरवधाम जाने के लिए मृतका अपने घर से निकली थी और प्रिंस की बाइक पर बैठ कर गई थी, बीते 15 नवंबर मंगलवार को जिले के अहरौला थाना क्षेत्र में उसका शव गौरी का पुरा गांव स्थित कुएं से 5 टुकड़ों में मिला था, जहां सिर गायब था। मामले के खुलासे के लिए पुलिस की 5 टीमें लगाई गईं थीं। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि युवती की शिनाख्त में इसहॉकपुर की रहने वाली 22 वर्षीय आराधना प्रजापति के रूप में की गई।

    आजमगढ़ के निजामाबाद थाना के फरिहा चौकी पर तैनात प्रभारी समेत 15 सिपाहियों पर गाज गिरी है। गंभीरपुर थाना क्षेत्र से एक नाबालिग किशोरी देर रात को भटकते हुए फरिहा क्षेत्र में स्थानीय लोगों को मिली थी। जिसकी उन्होंने पुलिस को सूचना दी थी पुलिस ने लड़की को पकड़ा और से पूछताछ की मामले में पुलिस ने लड़की के मुट्ठी में रखे ढाई हजार रुपए को अपने पास रख लिया और उसे पूछताछ के बाद लड़की को उसके परिजनों को सौंप दिया। लड़की के पास मौजूद मोबाइल तो परिजनों को लौटा दिया। लेकिन नगदी न देने पर इसकी शिकायत उसके परिजनों ने एसपी के यहां जनसुनवाई पर की। एसपी ने मामले में असंवेदनशीलता मिलने पर चौकी प्रभारी ज्ञान प्रकाश तिवारी व कांस्टेबल सौरभ को 2 दिन पहले ही निलंबित कर दिया था। इसके अलावा एसपी के अनुसार 15 पुलिसकर्मियों को जो यहां चौकी पर तैनात थे। उनको पुलिस लाइन स्थानांतरित किया है और चौकी पर कार्य प्रभावित न हो इसलिए लाइन से 15 पुलिसकर्मियों की वहां पर तैनाती की गई है। एसपी ने बताया कि लाइन हाजिर कर्मियों को विशेष प्रशिक्षण की आवश्यकता है ताकि वह महिलाओं के प्रति संवेदनशील रहें।
