केरल में एवियन इंफ्लुएंजा के बढ़ते मामलों के बीच केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने सतर्कता बढ़ा दी है. केंद्रीय मंत्रालय की तरफ से गुरुवार को एवियन फ्लू से जुड़े मामलों की जांच के लिए सात सदस्यीय एक दल को केरल भेजा गया है. यह दाल जांच के अपनी रिपोर्ट केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय को सौंपेगा और साथ ही इसको रोकने के तरीके को भी बताएगा. बता दें कि एवियन फ्लू बर्ड फ्लू के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. दुनियाभर में जंगली पक्षियों में इसका असर देखा गया है. वहीं पक्षियों के संपर्क में आने वाले इंसानों में भी इस संक्रमण का जोखिम होता है.अलाप्पुझा जिले में बत्तखों में एवियन फ्लू बीमारी फैलने की पुष्टि होने के साथ ही अधिकारियों ने बृहस्पतिवार को इस रोग के प्रसार पर काबू के लिए यहां हरिपद नगरपालिका के वझुथनम वार्ड में 20,000 से अधिक पक्षियों को मारने के लिए अभियान शुरू किया. भोपाल स्थित राष्ट्रीय उच्च सुरक्षा पशु रोग संस्थान में हाल ही में नमूनों की जांच में संक्रमण की पुष्टि हुई थी. जिला अधिकारियों ने यहां एक बयान में कहा कि 28 अक्टूबर शनिवार से इस बीमारी के केंद्र के एक किलोमीटर के घेरे में स्थित घरों के सभी पक्षियों को मारा जाएगा.

    दक्षिण गोव्यातील धार्मिक स्थळांची तोडफोड झाल्यानंतर पोलिसांच्या तपासावर चर्चप्रणित सत्यशोधन समितीनं प्रश्नचिन्ह उभं केलं होतं. या प्रकारावर भाजपचे आमदार नीलेश काब्राल यांनी बुधवारी पत्रकार परिषद घेऊन खरपूस समाचार घेतला. राज्यात अत्यंत जबाबदार तपास यंत्रणा अतिशय सक्रीय असताना कोणीतरी सत्यशोधन समिती गठीत करून या यंत्रणेबद्दल गैरसमज पसरवत आहे. ही समिती स्थापन करण्याचा अधिकार संबंधितांना कोणी दिला, असा संतप्त सवाल कुडचडेचे आमदार नीलेश काब्राल यांनी विचारलाय. भाजपच्या पणजीतील मुख्य कार्यालयात झालेल्या पत्रकार परिषदेत ते बोलत होते. पोटनिवडणुकीच्या काळात निव्वळ मतांचं ध्रुवीकरण करण्यासाठीच हा अहवाल जाहीर करण्यात आला, असाही आरोपही आमदार काब्राल यांनी यावेळी केला.
