This video is my response to the teacher Stacie Halas who was fired by a school district for having done adult videos on the internet. This video is just me talking and giving my opinion. I am not showing any video or photos. It is just me talking with the basic graphic. That is it.

Here is a description of what I am talking about. I have also included some additional information to reference what I am discussing.

A middle school teacher who was fired after students learned she had appeared in pornography has lost her appeal to return to the classroom, her lawyer said Tuesday.

A three-judge panel unanimously decided Stacie Halas, 32, was unfit for the classroom. Halas was fired in April from her job as a science teacher at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard after online videos of her in porn were discovered by students and teachers.

"Although (Halas') pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague," Judge Julie Cabos-Owen wrote in a 46-page decision issued Friday by the Commission on Professional Competence.

Halas was continually deceitful about her nine-month career in porn before she went to work at the school, the decision said.

    OXNARD, Calif. -- A middle-school science teacher fired after students learned she had appeared in pornographic movies had hoped not just to get her job back, but to set a precedent for people looking to escape an embarrassing personal history.

    A three-judge commission put a decisive stop to both, saying firmly and unanimously that Stacie Halas should not be in the classroom.

    "We were hoping we could show you could overcome your past," Halas lawyer Richard Schwab said Tuesday. "I think she's representative of a lot of people who may have a past that may not involve anything illegal or anything that hurts anybody."

    Judge Julie Cabos-Owen said such a past matters in an age when technology makes porn easy to access and hard to bury.

    "Although her pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague," Cabos-Owen said in the 46-page decision issued Friday by the Commission on Professional Competence.

    Halas, 32, was continually deceitful about her nine-month career in porn before she went to work at the school, the judges said.

    Schwab said Halas "was being honest and forthright, but was embarrassed and humiliated by her past experience in the adult industry."

    Halas, 32, was deemed unfit for a science teaching position at Haydock Intermediate School in Oxnard, Calif., after a three-judge panel came to a unanimous decision, according to her lawyer, as cited by the Associated Press.

    "Although (Halas') pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague," Judge Julie Cabos-Owen wrote in a 46-page decision issued Friday by the Commission on Professional Competence, as cited by the AP.

    Furthermore, the decision suggested that Halas was continually dishonest with school officials when questioned about her nine-month career in porn.

    Her lawyer Richard Schwab said that Halas had tried to be honest, but was embarrassed by her previous experience in the adult industry.

    "Miss Halas is more than just an individual fighting for her job as a teacher," he said on Tuesday. "I think she's representative of a lot of people who may have a past that may not involve anything illegal or anything that hurts anybody."

    OXNARD, California - An Oxnard teacher who was fired after her past as a porn actress was discovered by students lost her legal bid to regain her job.

    Stacie Halas, a science teacher at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School, was fired by the school board last April on the grounds that her role in pornography disrupted the classroom environment.

    Halas appealed her firing before the Commission on Professional Competence.

    On Tuesday, her attorney Richard Schwab said a three-judge panel unanimously decided the 32-year old was unfit for the classroom.

    During a hearing last fall, Schwab had argued that Halas did not star in pornographic movies while teaching in any district.

    He said Halas acted in them during an eight-month period from 2005 to 2006 because of financial duress.

    Nitasha Sawhney, one of two lawyers representing the school district, said Halas repeatedly lied to school administrators about her acting career at the same time students were viewing the explicit videos.

    "This case is about whether the students of the Oxnard School District are required to incorporate into their learning environment the choice Ms. Halas made to be a porn star," Sawhney said.

    Oxnard, Calif., trustees fired the 31-year-old science teacher, known as Tiffany Six in her adult films, on Wednesday.

    "We disagree with the decision by the board to dismiss or seek the dismissal of Miss Halas," lawyer Richard Schwab said, according to the LA Times. "It is our intention at this time to vigorously contest the charges."

    Students at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School started to whisper and spread rumors about their teacher last month, The Associated Press reported.

    The school district placed her on administrative leave as it investigated; on Wednesday, trustees voted unanimously to dismiss her.

    "We're dealing with the disruption that we believe it would cause our district, and the schools in our district, if she were to return back to the classroom," Superintendent Jeff Chancer told the AP.

    She appeared in the videos before becoming a teacher in 2009, the AP said.

    Part of Schwab's defense is that the porn industry is "very vibrant" in California, and Halas engaged in "lawful conduct," The Daily Mail reported.
