आज़ादी के अमृत महोत्सव पर नगर में तिरंगा यात्रा निकाली गई । हर घर तिरंगा फहराने का संदेश देने के किए निकली यात्रा में समाज कल्याण राज्य मंत्री संजीव गौड एवं श्रीमती अनामिका चौधरी शामिल हुई । यात्रा का शुभारम्भ बरिया घाट से किया गया जो लालडिग्गी चौराहा पर जाकर संपन्न हुईजन जागरण यात्रा भारतीय जनता पार्टी के ज़िलाध्यक्ष बृजभूषण सिंह के नेतृत्व में निकाली गई । यात्रा में व्हील चेयर पर सवार होकर तिरंगा लहराते हुए निकले दो दिव्यांग लोगों के बीच बिना कहे जश्न में भागीदारी के लिए प्रेरित कर रहे थे। हजारों की संख्या में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के कार्यकर्ता तिरंगे ध्वज के साथ शामिल हुए। इस मौके पर समाज कल्याण राज्य मंत्री संजीव गौड ने कहा कि कुर्बानियों के बाद देश को आजादी मिली है। आज़ादी के बाद 75 वर्ष बीत गया। इस वर्ष अमृत महोत्सव के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है । हर घर पर लोग तिरंगा लहराते हुए आज़ादी के इस उत्सव में शामिल हो । जन जागरण के लिए तिरंगा यात्रा निकाली गई है। यह आजादी के लिए शहीद होने वाले अमर सपूतों के लिए नमन हैं ।
