यूपी के हमीरपुर जिले में भी आज कजली महोत्सव बड़ी धूम धाम से मनाया गया ,इस दौरान 166 वर्षीय ऐतिहासिक कजली दंगल का आयोजन हुआ और दूर दराज से आये पहलवानो ने अपने दाव पेंच आजमाए साथ ही साथ हजारो लोगो ने मेले का मजा भी लिया !उत्तर प्रदेश के बुंदेलखंड के हमीरपुर इलाके में रक्षा बंधन के बाद कजली त्यौहार मनाने की कुछ अलग ही परम्परा है आज के दिन ही के दिन चंदेल वंश की महारानी मल्हना और राजकुमारी चन्द्रावली ने अपनी सहेलियों के साथ मिल कर प्रथ्वी राज चौहान से युद्ध कर उन्हें पराजित किया था तभी से यहाँ कजली त्यौहार की शुरवात हुयी .हमीरपुर जिले में भी यह उत्सव 166 वर्षो से मनाया जा रहा है जिसकी शुरुआत समाजसेवी राजीव शुक्ला ने पहलवानो की कुश्ती के द्वारा की जिसमे बड़ी दूर दराज से आये पहलवान ने कुश्ती में भाग लिया , इस दंगल में महिला पहलवान ने भी अपने दाव पेज दिखाते हुए पुरुष पहलवान को हराकर लोगो का मनोरंजन कराया,इस दौरान कजली महोत्सव में लगे मेले का मजा लेने के लिए हजारो का हुजूम लगा रहा !
