    Justice SA Bobde to be next Supreme Court Chief Justice, President Kovind signs warrant

    President Ram Nath Kovind, today, signed a warrant appointing Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde as the next Chief Justice of India. Justice Bobde will take oath as CJI on November 18. Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi had recommended the name of the next senior most judge in the Supreme Court pecking order, Justice Bobde, as his successor as per convention.

    രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തിന് പ്രത്യക നിയമം കൊണ്ടുവരാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്ന് സുപ്രീംകോടതി മുന്‍ ചീഫ്ജസ്റ്റിസ് ജെ.ചെലമേശ്വര്‍




    അയോധ്യയില്‍ ഡിസംബര്‍ മാസത്തില്‍ രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മാണം ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് രാമജന്മഭൂമി ന്യാസ് അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ രാംവിലാസ് വേദാന്തി.
    ഇതോടൊപ്പം മുസ്ലിം പള്ളിയുടെ നിര്‍മാണം ലക്‌നൗവില്‍ ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വാര്‍ത്താ ഏജന്‍സിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതിനായി ഓര്‍ഡനന്‍സിന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി.പ്രത്യേക ഓര്‍ഡിനന്‍സ് കൂടാതെതന്നെ ഉഭയകക്ഷി സമ്മതത്തോടെ രണ്ട് ആരാധനാലയങ്ങളുടെയും നിര്‍മാണം നടത്തുമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. 2019ലെ ലോക്‌സഭാ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന് മുന്‍പായി രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മാണം ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞ സെപ്തംബറില്‍ വേദാന്തി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു.
    രാമക്ഷേത്രനിര്‍മ്മാണം സംബന്ധിച്ച കേസ് സുപ്രീംകോടതിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിലിരിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലും കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാറിന് ഓര്‍ഡിനന്‍സ്‌ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതില്‍ തടസ്സമില്ലെന്നാണ് ചെലമേശ്വര്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്.കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഓള്‍ ഇന്ത്യാ പ്രൊഫഷണല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു ചെലമേശ്വറിന്റെ പ്രസ്താവന. 'സംഭവിച്ചാലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും നിയമപരമായി അത് സാധ്യമാണ്‌. കഴിഞ്ഞകാലങ്ങളില്‍ സുപ്രീംകോടതിയുടെ തീരുമാനത്തെ ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ നിയമസംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തിയതൊക്കെ ഓര്‍ത്തുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാണ് ഞാന്‍ ഇത് പറയുന്നത്. 'രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ചെലമേശ്വര്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.നേരത്തെ തന്നെ രാജ്യം ഇക്കാര്യം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു. രാമക്ഷേത്ര നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തിനായി നിയമം കൊണ്ടുവന്നാല്‍ നമുക്കതിനെ എതിര്‍ക്കാനാവില്ലെന്നും ചെലമേശ്വര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
