    മുംബൈ ഭീകരാക്രമണക്കേസില്‍ കുറ്റക്കാരനായി കണ്ടെത്തി തൂക്കിലേറ്റിയ ഭീകരന്‍ അജ്മല്‍ കസബിന്റെ അവസാനവാക്കുകള്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുകയാണ് അന്വേഷണഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്‍.തൂക്കിലേറ്റപ്പെടുന്നതിന് തലേദിവസം കസബ് തന്നോട് സംസാരിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായ രമേഷ് മഹാലെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 2012 നവംബര്‍ 11നാണ് കസബിന് വധശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചത്. നവംബര്‍ 21നാണ് വധശിക്ഷ നടപ്പാക്കിയത്. ശിക്ഷ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതിന് ഒരുദിവസം മുമ്പാണ് മഹാലെ കസബിനോട് സംസാരിച്ചത്. ആര്‍തര്‍ റോഡ് ജയിലില്‍ നിന്ന് യേര്‍വാഡ ജയിലിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകും വഴി നിങ്ങള്‍ ജയിച്ചു, ഞാന്‍ തോറ്റു എന്ന് മാത്രമാണ് കസബ് പറഞ്ഞത്. അപ്പോഴേക്കും ആത്മവിശ്വാസം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട് മരണഭയത്തിന് കസബ് കീഴടങ്ങിയിരുന്നെന്നും മഹാലെ പറയുന്നു.2008 നവംബര്‍ 26നാണ് രാജ്യത്തെ നടുക്കിയ മുംബൈ ഭീകരാക്രമണം നടന്നത്. കോടതിയില്‍ നിന്ന് തൂക്കിക്കൊല്ലാനുള്ള വിധിപ്പകര്‍പ്പ് ലഭിക്കുന്നത് വരെ നിയമത്തിന്റെ നൂലാമാലകളിലൂടെ താന്‍ രക്ഷപെടുമെന്ന് തന്നെയായിരുന്നു കസബിന്റെ വിശ്വാസമെന്ന് മഹാലെ പറഞ്ഞു.ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിന്റെ ഓരോ ഘട്ടത്തിലും കസബ് അന്വേഷണോദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേയിരുന്നെന്ന് മഹാലെ പറയുന്നു. പാകിസ്താന്‍ പൗരനായ താന്‍ അമിതാഭ് ബച്ചനെ കാണാനായാണ് മുംബൈയിലേക്ക് നിയമാനുസൃത വിസയില്‍ വന്നതെന്നാണ് കസബ് പറഞ്ഞത്. ബച്ചന്റെ ജൂഹു വസതിക്ക് മുമ്പില്‍ കാത്തുനിന്നപ്പോഴാണ് തന്നെ അന്വേഷണോദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പിടികൂടിയതെന്നായിരുന്നു കസബിന്റെ വാദം. കേസന്വേഷിച്ച പ്രത്യേക ക്രൈംബ്രാഞ്ച്‌ സംഘത്തിന്റെ തലവനായിരുന്നു രമേഷ് മഹാലെ. 2013ല്‍ സര്‍വ്വീസില്‍ നിന്ന് വിരമിച്ച മഹാലെ ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിശ്രമജീവിതത്തിലാണ്.ഒരു ചോദ്യത്തിന് പോലും നേരാംവണ്ണം ഉത്തരം പറയാന്‍ കസബ് തയ്യാറായിരുന്നില്ലെന്നും മഹാലെ പറയുന്നു.
