As we reach the milestone of 75 years of our Independence, I cannot help but wonder at our resilience. The past few years have been difficult, but India has emerged stronger as one of the fastest growing economies of the world. India is a power to reckon with. This Independence Day, Indians have much to celebrate. Our initiatives to support communities have been recognised internationally, our athletes have been making us proud at various platforms, the farmers of the country are fuelling the nation’s growth by filling the greeneries with farm produce. The manufacturing industry is the strongest growth multiplier in the economy, and we at GPI are proud of our contributions. GPI’s responsibility towards the nation and its people does not stop here. We believe that progress can only be sustained by keeping empath and humanity at the core of all our actions. Quite like our grand Nation, GPI also has a legacy of care and People First philosophy. We have always endeavoured to foster culture of equality, diversity, and inclusivity. In respect of our Prime Minister’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, we as one GPI family are celebrating 75 years of Independence by hoisting the tricolour with great pride and gusto from August 13th to August 15th. Namaste friends. Our flag represents an idea of India. It is not a mere piece of decoration. The Indian flag represents our rich history, and sacrifice made by our freedom fighters and the spiritual strength of Indians.
Our top band Kesaria shows the strength and courage of the country. The white middle band indicates peace and truth with the Dharm chakra. This Dharm chakra depicts the wheel of the law. The chakra intends to show us that there is life in movement and death in stagnation. The last band is green in colour, showing the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of India and our passion and respect for nature.
I would encourage you to hoist Tiranga at your home and celebrate the 75 years of the free human spirit.

Greetings to all of you, brothers and sisters of India from IDMA— Indian Drug Manufacturers Association.
We wish you a very happy, prosperous and healthy 75th Independence Day.
India has been a great nation, but we will now make it one of the greatest nations on this earth, and how can we do it? We want to feel for the poor, for the needy. We want to ensure that no Indian sleeps hungry. We want to ensure that every Indian gets the health care he deserves; every Indian gets quality medicines— that is what IDMA resolves.
We want to compliment the government for giving us this lovely slogan, #HarGharTiranga. We have informed our staff, families, and all our 1100 members to see that the national flag is shown properly in our houses, factories, institutes and associations. This is one way of coming together. We want to show the world that we are united. We want to take care of the poor and needy. We want to believe that for us, it is our nation first, and then we are there. If the country does well, we all do well.

Hello, everyone. It's a matter of great pride, privilege, and honour for all of us alive today to be able to participate in the celebrations of the 75th Independence Day of our beloved country.
All of us have seen the amount of progress India has made over the last 15-20 years of economic liberalization.
What makes me particularly optimistic about our country going forward is that we have a strong, stable government which is also reformist. Now, that's a unique, magical combination. We've seen governments, which are strong but are misguided in economic ideology. They're in our neighbourhood and we know where they went.
On other occasions, we see governments that are weak. In that case, they can't reform, so they can't improve the lives of the people. So, we are in that unique combination, and that augurs wonderfully well for our country going forward.
Furthermore, what is important is also the concept of economic reforms, globalization, liberalization, free markets, competition and unleashing private sector energies, promoting the private sector, entrepreneurship, and digital ecosystems. These have all become acceptable terms for our country, and that is wonderful when we look ahead.
Of course, another very important thing they are doing is building massive digital highways in the form of UPI. The success of credit bureaus, mobile networks, account aggregators, and now ONDC.
So, all of these are wonderful things that will take growth down the pyramid. That will augur for a wonderfully inclusive growth in the country going forward in the next few years and that is what we should really aspire for, as we look ahead.
So, I hope and I'm sure, that all of you will participate in this celebration of our great country. India will be an 8 trillion-dollar economy in 2030. I really can't wait to see the next eight years. So, thank you, everybody: Mr Vaidyanathan V, Member, Fଏହି ଭାବରେ FICCI India | 55 ଦୃଶ୍ୟସଂଖ୍ୟା
