समाजवादी पार्टी (Samajwadi Party) के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव (Akhilesh Yadav) ने सोमवार को सत्तारूढ़ बीजेपी (BJP) पर आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि बीजेपी सरकार ने प्रदेश का विकास रोक दिया है. इस दौरान सपा प्रमुख ने पहली बार महिला पहलवानों के धरने और बृजभूषण शरण सिंह (Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh) पर प्रतिक्रिया दी.

अखिलेश यादव ने कहा, "उन्हें न्याय मिले और ये उन्हें न्याय दिलाने की जिम्मेदारी बीजेपी की है. बीजेपी की सरकार यूपी में है और दिल्ली में है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पास केस गया है तो मुझे उम्मीद है कि कोर्ट के निर्देश के बाद न्याय मिलेगा. दोनों सरकार से उम्मीद है कि उन्हें न्याय मिलेगा." सपा मुख्यालय से सोमवार शाम को जारी बयान के अनुसार अलीगढ़ और मेरठ में सपा के मेयर प्रत्याशियों के समर्थन में रोड-शो किया.
