जेल मुख्यालय के संज्ञान में आया है कि जेल अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी सामान्य मैनुअल घड़ी की जगह स्मार्ट वाच और स्मार्ट बैंड का इस्तेमाल कर रहे है। ये डिवाइस मोबाइल से जुड़ने के बाद उसकी तरह काम करने लगते है। इसलिए इनका मोबाइल की तरह इस्तेमाल किए जाने की संभावना रहती है।
कारागार मुख्यालय ने प्रदेश की समस्त जेलों में स्मार्ट वाच और स्मार्ट बैंड के इस्तेमाल पर पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। मोबाइल की तरह इनका इस्तेमाल होने की आशंका के मद्देनजर यह कदम उठाया गया है। डीजी जेल आनंद कुमार ने शुक्रवार को इसका आदेश जारी कर दिया।

दरअसल, जेल मुख्यालय के संज्ञान में आया है कि जेल अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी सामान्य मैनुअल घड़ी की जगह स्मार्ट वाच और स्मार्ट बैंड का इस्तेमाल कर रहे है। ये डिवाइस मोबाइल से जुड़ने के बाद उसकी तरह काम करने लगते है। इसलिए इनका मोबाइल की तरह इस्तेमाल किए जाने की संभावना रहती है। इसी वजह से ऐसे डिवाइस को जेल के भीतर ले जाने और इस्तेमाल करने पर प्रतिबंध लगाया गया है। डीजी जेल ने समस्त डीआईजी कारागार को आदेश का सख्ती से अनुपालन कराने को कहा है।
