JBT trainees took out a huge protest rally in capital Shimla and accused the education department of rigging. After the rally, JBT trainees decided to sit on hunger strike outside the secretariat. In this episode, JBT trainee spent the whole night a few meters away from the secretariat and the demonstration is still going on. JBT trainees say that the education department should keep the rules in check. Tax is rigging the recruitment process. He said that this demonstration will continue until the state government takes a decision in favor of JBT trainees.

An SSB Jawan from Gram Panchayat Pukhari of District Chamba posted in SSB's 55 BN Dumka (Jharkhand) died when a tree branch fell on his motorcycle due to storm while he was going from office to quarter.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Kumar son of Kaka Ram village Surela Chabdu post office Kharothi tehsil Salooni district Chamba. After the body reached home, the atmosphere became sad once again. The Jawan was cremated with state honors at the ancestral crematorium as per Hindu customs. Tehsildar Salooni and Dalhousie MLA DS Thakur were also present on the spot from the administration's side.
