कुर्बानी के जज्बे के साथ गुरुवार को ईद-उल-अजहा के मौके पर अल्लाह की बारगाह में लाखों सिर सजदे में झुके। इसके साथ ही उस अजीम कुर्बानी को याद किया गया जो हजरत इब्राहिम ने अपने रब के हुक्म से पेश की थी। राजधानी के ईदगाह मैदान व जामा मस्जिद सहित शहर की अन्य मस्जिदों में नमाज अता की गई। शिमला के ईदगाह मैदान में सुबह 9 बजे मुस्लिम समुदाय के लोगों द्वारा ईद की नमाज अता की गई।नमाज अता कर अमन और चैन की दुआ मांगी गई। कई जगह लोगों ने अपने अपने घरों में भी नमाज अता की। नमाज के बाद लोगों ने एक दूसरे से गले मिलकर ईद की बधाई दी।
