TWO DESPERATE SNATCHERS ARRESTED BY STAFF OF SPL. STAFF ROHINI DISTT.
ONE SNATCHED/STOLEN GOLD CHAIN RECOVERED.
ONE STOLEN SCOOTY RECOVERED.
THREE STOLEN MOBILE PHONES RECOVERED.

BRIEF:
Under the ongoing operation PARAKRAM, a team led by Insp. Spl. Staff, Rohini District under supervision of ACP/Opr. and under overall supervision of DCP/Rohini was constituted to put a curb on the menace of snatching, robbery and auto lifting incidents in Rohini District. The staff of Spl. Staff Rohini District has done a commendable job by arresting two snatchers namely Tarun @ Arun @ Chhota Saheb S/o Jaswant Singh R/o Mangolpuri Delhi, Age-26 Yrs. and Saurabh @ Ashish @ Chotta S/o Heera Lal R/o, Mangolpuri Delhi, Age-22 Yrs on a secret information when they came in the area of Rohini District to meet someone. On their search and further sustained questioning, 03 stolen mobile phones, one stolen gold chain were recovered from their possession. On verification, the Scooty in their possession was also found to be stolen. With their arrest, 07 cases of snatching and theft have been worked out.
INCIDENT AND ARREST:
In order to put a curb on the street and heinous crimes under the operation PARAKRAM, Spl. Staff, Rohini was tasked to develop information and take strict action against the offenders who are involved in such type of crimes in the Rohini District. In pursuance to this, Spl. Staff/Rohini was working and developing source information about the criminals. On 28.06.2023, a secret information was received by Spl. Staff, Rohini District about the movement of two desperate snatchers in the area of Rohini, Delhi. Accordingly, a team comprising of SI Jagdish Singh, HC Surender, HC Pawan & HC Rajesh led by Insp. Spl. Staff, Rohini was constituted under the supervision of ACP/Spl. Staff and under overall supervision of DCP/Rohini for the arrest of the targets by laying a trap.
