हर वर्ष बाढ़ की विभीषिका झेलने वाले सिद्धार्थनगर जिले के बांसी तहसील में बाढ़ से बचाओ को लेकर मॉकड्रिल का आयोजन किया गया। मॉक ड्रिल का आयोजन उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण के माध्यम से कराया गया । बांसी तहसील के रानी मोह भक्त लक्ष्मी घाट पर आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में बाढ़ से संबंधित बचाव के गुर सिखाएं गए आपदा प्रबंधन मॉक ड्रिल के इस कार्यक्रम में जिले के सभी अधिकारियों के साथ बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के आपदा मित्र मौजूद रहे और आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण लखनऊ से आए एनडीआरएफ की टीम ने आपदा मित्रों को बाढ़ के विभीषिका से निपटने के लिए ट्रैंड किया। एन डी आर एफ की टीम ने मॉक ड्रिल के माध्यम से अपने आसपास के संसाधनों का बाढ़ के समय किसी भी तरह की स्थिति से निपटने के लिए कैसे बेहतर इस्तेमाल हो सकता है इसको सिखाया और लोगों को मानसिक शारीरिक रूप से भी कैसे मजबूत रहकर इन स्थितियों का मुकाबला करना है इसकी भी जानकारी दी। मॉकड्रिल के बारे में जिला अधिकारी संजीव रंजन ने बताया कि सिद्धार्थ नगर जिला बाढ़ के मामले में अति संवेदनशील है यहां के नदियों की स्थिति बरसात में भयावह हो जाती है। हर वर्ष हजारों एकड़ फसल और घरों का नुकसान होता है। इसलिए जरूरी है कि यहां के लोग बाढ़ से निपटने के लिए हमेशा तैयार रहें इसी क्रम में आज एनडीआरएफ की टीम ने मॉक ड्रिल कर लोगों को बाढ़ से बचाव के गुर सिखाए। जिला अधिकारी ने बताया कि सभी तहसीलों पर इस तरह के कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर पंचायत स्तर पर एक टीम बनाई जा रही है जो गांव में जाकर के लोगों को जागरूक करेगी और अपने आसपास के संसाधनों से बेहतर बाढ़ से बचाव कैसे किया जा सकता है इसकी जानकारी देगी।
