सिद्धार्थनगर जिले मैं करीब 9 करोड़ की लागत से बनी सड़क 20 दिन में ही जगह जगह से धस कर जर्जर हालत में पहुंच गई है। भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ़ गई यह सड़क जोगिया ब्लाक के भैसहवा से जीतपुर तक बनी है। मामले की शिकायत क्षेत्रीय विधायक विनय वर्मा ने लिखित तौर से मुख्यमंत्री से करते हुए दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही करने की बात कही है। वहीं इस मामले में जिला अधिकारी का कहना है कि इस प्रकरण की जांच कराई जा रही है जो भी दोषी होगा उस के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी। शोहरतगढ़ विधानसभा के जीतपुर बांध पर बनी ये सड़क जगह-जगह से उखड़ और धस गई है। यह सड़क अभी 20 दिन पहले ही बनी है। करीब 7 किलोमीटर तक बनी इस सड़क की लागत करीब 9 करोड़ रुपए है। और यह सड़क त्वरित आर्थिक विकास योजना के अंतर्गत लोक निर्माण विभाग प्रांतीय खंड सिद्धार्थनगर के द्वारा बनवाई जा रही है। भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ़ चुकी इस सड़क का निर्माण चार-पांच महीनों से चल रहा था। लेकिन इस पर लेपन का कार्य मई में शुरू हुआ आधा किलो मीटर छोड़कर करीब-करीब यह सड़क पूरी तरह मुकम्मल हो चुकी है। लेकिन सड़क में मानक की धज्जियां किस तरह उड़ाई गई हैं यह आपके सामने है। एक तरफ सड़क बनती जा रही है तो दूसरी तरफ धंसती और टूट कर उखड़ती जा रही है। इस सड़क से गुजरने वाले स्थानीय लोग सड़क में हुए इस भ्रष्टाचार से काफी दुखी हैं उनका कहना है कि अगर 20 दिन में ही सड़क इस तरह उखड़ और धंस जाएगी तो आगे क्या होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इस सड़क के बनने से भी लोग काफी खुश थे लेकिन भ्रष्टाचार के इस खेल से उन्हें निराशा हाथ लगी है।
