    नाजायज़ कलोनियों के मुद्दे पर विरोधियों द्वारा कई बार नवजोत सिद्धू को घेरा गया ..मगर सिद्धू की तरफ से आज जालंधर के कई इलाकों में नाजायज इमारतों पर छापेमारी की गई..जहां उन्होंने जालंधर की बाजवा कालोनी,काला सिंह रोड पर स्थित दुर्गा कालोनी पर रेड की...सिद्धू ने सख़्त एक्शन लेते हुए जालंधर की दुर्गा कालोनी को तोड़ने के आदेश दिए हैं। दरअसल इस कालोनी को तोड़ने के आदेश इसलिए दिए गए हैं क्योंकि कई लोगों द्वारा अपनी मर्ज़ी से मकानों की उसारी की गई..कालोनियें को बिना नक्शा पास करवाए ही तैयार किया गया है ...सिद्धू द्वारा जालंधर के कुछ रेस्तरा में जाकर भी चैकिंग की गई ...जिनका कुछ हिस्सा ग़ैर कानूनी पाया गया ....। इसके साथ ही जालंधर के माडल टाऊन और गोल मार्केट की कुछ बिलडिंगों को सील करन के आर्डर भी दिए गए हैं ...। वहीँ मंत्री नवजोत सिद्धू की तरफ से सबंधित आधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि इन इमारतों से सम्बन्धित मुकमल रिपोर्ट पेश की जाए ..ये भी सामने आया है कि इस रिपोर्ट के बाद सिद्धू की तरफ से कई सबंधित विभाग के अफसरों को सस्पैंड भी किया जा सकता है.
