North Korea Nuclear Test Sparks Global Outrage

North Korea has completed what is believed to be their most powerful nuclear test on Friday, prompting more concerns over the pace of their weapons testing and how close they are to mounting nuclear weapons on ballistic rockets. CNN reports that the detonation is estimated to have had the power of 10 kilotons which is twice the amount of the most recent test this past January by North Korea. For perspective, the bombs dropped by the US in Japan on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were 15 kilotons and 21 kilotons.
