Nepal hosts an odd beauty pageant of elephants

Sauraha (Nepal): Scribbles over bodies, eyeliners, nail polish on nails and tippy-toes walk; this is beauty pageant of earth’s biggest mammal, the elephants. The annual festival held in the tourist destination of south-west Nepal, Sauraha this year hosted the 16th edition of Elephant Festival amongst which the elephants’ beauty contest was the centre of attraction.
