पुंछ जिले में मेंढर सब डिविजन से करीब 22 किलोमीटर दूर पठानातीर गांव के लोग स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को लेकर कई सालों से अनदेखी का शिकार हो रहे हैं। 2008 में प्राइमरी हेल्थ सेंटर खोलने के लिए बिल्डिंग का काम शुरू किया गया था, जो एक दशक बीत जाने के बाद भी अंजाम तक नहीं पहुंच पाया है। पिछले पांच साल से PHC की बिल्डिंग का ढांचा बन कर तैयार हो चुका है, लेकिन उसके आगे किसी ने इसकी सुध लेना मुनासिब नहीं समझा।
